Another one of the small works I think I should
call Calmers (for that´s what they are, nerve calmers...)
- it is (or intends to become, when grown up...)
a Schmetterling, a butterfly
"Some such Butterfly be seen
On Brazilian Pampas—
Just at noon—no later—Sweet—
Then—the License closes—
Some such Spice—express and pass—
Subject to Your Plucking—
As the Stars—You knew last Night—
Foreigners—This Morning—"
(Emily Dickinson: Some such Butterfly be seen)

Oh funny! I have a viola that matches my last knitting project that I was going to post!
Love both the poem and the project. Emily Dickinson is a favorite.
Or a very small totem or talisman.
Further in Summer than the Birds
Pathetic from the grass
A minor Nation celebrates
Its unobtrusive Mass.
(from Dickinson poem about crickets)
Hope your viola´s still alive, (photographed mine at a cemetery, lying forgotten on the path, poor things)...
- or totem or talisman, right! (but even if very small rather big words for rather small things...)
Ephemera transformed to something more permanent. Lovely.
Ephemera... didn´t know the word - thanks...
Yes, Calmers! That's a perfect name for your work.
Thank you, Robin...
