Someday soon...

Here´s Hands of Time again...

I´m going over it once more, connecting disagreeing
bits and pieces...

... with skin-coloured thread - a shade I wouldn´t
fancy normally I think, but here it works fine...

And some of the little hands still need more doing
- emulating their ancient cousins, the mysterious hands
from Borneo...

This one is a pretty slow thing - started it last June.
But it´s going to be finished someday soon...

Right... someday´s even better than yesterday, sometimes...

It's worth it gal. It reminds me of a snowy day. xx

... then it´d be better finished someday soon - seems that today has been the last (partly) snowy day of the season...

Love the idea of "disagreeing bits!" P.S. I was paging through the newest Cloth Paper Scissors.... How fun to see you there!

in the ruddy rings, I see the 'someday' of spring, and therefore, hope...

Thank you... yes, spring´s around the corner (I confess to disagree with that fact sometimes, though - that sudden increase of "yang"...) - didn´t know it was out already, Deb - looks good, doesn´t it...?!

It's really beautiful. It's funny, I have that very same 'decorated hands' picture in my 'inspirations' box. I think I cut it out of National Geographic magazine some time ago. I haven't got round to doing anything with it yet. The hands are fascinating.

Thanks, Kaye... yes, they´re from NG, I just thought this afternoon that I´m going to keep the article + use them again, someday soon...

Beautiful work. I love the mix of antique lace, hand stitch and the pre - history images.
