Blue note (with grey)

That was the grey part... ( - just a curtain I sprayed
with water...)

On to the blues then, trying to find some refreshment
from the heat:

A cool glass of water...

A paperweight I bought years ago in Denmark...

And a small "long cloth" in the making...

In the second to last photo it almost looks like there is a flame working it's way up the cloth.

the long cloth, blue and white
...the sky's reflected hue.

such a vibrant blue in that cloth brings down the temperature a couple of degrees. looks like there's some rusted fabric in there as well. lovely.

All day I’ve faced a barren waste

Without the taste of water, cool water.

Old Dan and I with throats burnt dry

And souls that cry for water,

Cool, clear water.

I think that's the boldest color I've seen you use. It's so vibrant and refreshing against your quiet tones.

the blue is so striking against your normal palette,

very exciting for some reason..

Love that last photo...the blue and stitching...fabulous! Also, like that little "rusty" looking spot
incorporated into fabric.

Thanks, everyone, for your comments... - I hesitated quite a while if I should buy it or not when I saw that rest piece of blue silk, glad now I did (it´s 145 x 70 cm, so be prepared for more blue notes... ;) - one good thing about the heat (which takes a rest today, thanks heavens) is, one remembers to appreciate the clean cool water coming out of the tap... "Durst ist schlimmer als Heimweh", my grandmother used to say - thirst is worse than homesickness...
