a new fabric pack. It will be in the shop towards
the end of this week (I´ll notify who´s on my mailing

And I´ve been making some fabric beads...
It´s soothing working on little things sometimes -
and it´s a splendid way to use even the smallest,
unshapely scraps, and beads and buttons. I like beads,
just don´t know what to do with them, most of the time.
I´ll do more of these I guess, perhaps even put
them together, make some fabric jewellery...

Wow! Your beads are fantastic. I've just started making some fabric beads for the very reason of having something to use those itty bitty scraps that are too pretty to throw away. Yours are wonderful - love the stitching and the button. You could sell them to others just like they would buy beads for projects. I put a pin back on one of mine just to give folks an idea of what they could do. Love your blog - I'm new to it :)
Heike... those are real textile delights! the depth of color inthe fabric is divine and the textures of the beads are gorgeous. I'm in for some of those fabric packs!
Scrumptious fabric and lovely beads. Making beads has been on my to-try list forever. Someday I'll get to it all...at the very least I enjoy what I get to.

Yes! That's it exactly - I like beads too, but I don't always know what to do with them. I think you have the perfect solution here. They look like magical little spirit bundles.

Hello everyone + thank you... - these beads do feel good, actually, firm as well as soft + they can be easily made in bed, ha ha... (with one bead on them, they have a tendency to topple over, though, so to make them into a pin sounds like a good idea...) - but no too high expectations about the fabric pack, please - it´s only one I can offer this week (but enough of it for all who want one I hope...)

Thanks... - I enjoy finding these "birthday" quotes, it´s kind of a little extra hommage to the person, + I´m often stunned by the year of birth, + how the world was a much different place then, as with S.A. here - 1876...
