Sometimes just a little something is missing, before
a piece can be called finished...
And here it came, in a wonderful envelope of fabrics
Marie sent me...
It´s one of a few small take-it-easy summer cloths
I´m making...
Another one of them received a fitting addition too
in the mail this week, when a beige extra came with
some delightful oyster grey silk ribbons I bought
from Lisa...

Hi Eva
I love this new work the detail is so beautiful.
loving these summer take it easy cloths HG. just perfect, and the scraps that land in our laps are just right; love it when that happens.
Hey, thanks... - especially for introducing me to that bird, Deanna, didn´t see it, though it had been there all along... - and for mentioning the date, Els - yes, a black day, not only for Berlin (living within the wall, on the west side, which I did for more than a decade, seemed quite normal though, for me, personally - took it easy I guess...;)
P.S. The name´s Heike - cheers...
these works are so delightful.. the details and palette.. like a fresh summer breeze. you are right.. the ribbons fit well...so glad...I've got to find a chance to use them myself.
an interesting contrast to your latest work and post...I like that.
