Turtle almost finished

"What we see before us is just one tiny part of the world.
We get into the habit of thinking, this is the world, but
that's not true at all. The real world is a much darker
and deeper place than this, and much of it is occupied by
jellyfish and things."

(Haruki Murakami, borrowed at Whiskey River)

So wunderschön zart, ich mag Schildkröten. Ich habe schon eine ganze Sammlung (Holz, Stein, Glas, Stoff..)- auch eine lebende! Diese würde ich einrahmen.

Again, I think of the Ancient Mariner, these strange creatures are also beautiful.

What a lovely turtle you made. I visit your blog from time to time and each time it amazes me how you create such a peaceful place. It is therefore that I'm so grateful for your comment which I received today. I'm really glad that you liked the post I wrote.

Thank you. Elizabeth

I love the edges on this. That turtle knows secrets I think.

This is my favourite piece of yours so far-I love the softly muted palette, the theme and the little stitches.
