After a lot of trying and exploring ,
spending considerable time on spur-of-the-moment
projects (and deeming myself still a stitching novice),
next year I plan to approach things with some more
purpose...

That quote is perfect for UFO's too :} Brave woman to set such a goal--mine are slowly disappearing by being cannabalized for other things!

I don't know why that came to mind - it was something about the Steinem quote and your resolve.
A worthy goal...It would take me a year to finish everything I'm working on!

Puuh, now all the world knows about it... +, no big surprise, the first obstacles + fatigue fits show their ugly faces... but I´m determined (not too much, though, for nothing would happen if I don´t succeed, nothing at all... okay, I might be a trifle pissed off :)

Admiral resolution, hope you get somewhere near your goal, it's quite a task you have set yourself. All the pieces look absolutely wonderful. It makes me wish I were more focused!

Your UFOs are lovely and offer good inspiration to finish them. My UFOs are usually things that turned out to be bad ideas and are better left alone!
oh what a beautiful and familiar scene. i often hold a tea ceremony so they can all get together and give each other, and me... new purpose.
Thank you all... - the shown UFOs I have to admit are those unlikely to be bad-idea-ones (the deeper down in the basket, the worse it gets...) going to adopt the tea ceremony... more focus is what I try to gain (fine to be a butterfly, but confusion tends to clot the wings...)
