and ugly a scrap or bits of books should
be to be thrown away, couldn´t bring myself
to throw them away, made little piles instead
and - inspired by this - sew them together...

makes sense, a permanent pile, i never thought of a book that way.
This is GENIUS! Now why haven't I thought of sewing my piles togeter to make art? I wouldn't agonize about throwing anything out, since it would all be used. Great idea!

I'm finding the idea of mixed media more and more appealing. These are really interesting.
The bits of paper and scraps are fabulous! I miss doing mixed media.
I had a very large box that I had collected charms, papers, feathers, papers, etc. and it was lost in the move : ( . So, I have not replaced it yet.
I adore small gems made from scrapes. These look like pages in an artists book. Beauty.
