Mmmm... I love that mustardy colour.Jacky.
I love your neutral tones in this piece. The first 3 patch pictures are wonnderful. Did you use natural dyes?
rust? look great how every you had done it, looks like smoke and has lots of movement within it x
Does silent saturday mean no one should speak? Hope not because I have to ask what this is. It's gorgeous. Overdye? discharge?
The last photo reminds me of sunflowers. That is a happy thought : )
Dear Gerdiary - I visit your blog everyday. I do admire your palette of greys with the occasional scraps of colour. Your dye experiments are very exciting. The iron will not rust in your dye pot because there is no oxygen in it - but I love the blacks and greys it produces. Leave some pot cleaner on it afterwards after it has come out of the pot and leave it in the open air so it can oxidise. Love it all.
Thanks everyone... - mustard, smoke, sunflowers, that gives me happy thoughts, too, in cold, grey Berlin... - + special thanks to you, Pamela Anne...
