Oops, I did it...

I opened a shop...

After going pregnant for quite a while - first with
the thought, then with the thing - well, here it is...

I´ve put in a few things I had lying around, for a start...

And to celebrate the fact, here´s another little
Give-away:

I´m offering 3 VIRTUAL VOUCHERS...

This is supposed to mean: in case the winners buy
something at the shop, I´ll refund them 10 € each
(no hurry, it will be valid open end...)

To participate, please answer a question:

Supposing there were no financial limits nor lack
of storing space (and no scruples about amassing
worldly goods while others are starving...)

What would you like to collect?

Me, I´d (not to mention all kinds of fabrics old
and new, and expensive shoes...) go for a room
or two full of cloth creatures from around the world -
and could develop a fancy for porcelain dogs, I guess...

The Give-away will be open for a week, till Febr. 11.

Pooh, now a well-deserved rest...

Looks very good, the shop.
As a collector, I would buy old doll houses and Kaufmannsläden, I would restore them and open a museum.

Wonderful shop.... congratulations! I love your work and will keep an eye out for some of those wonderful creatures you create.

As for collections... I would love to collect old crockery and cutlery and linens. I love art books and vintage books (I think I'm going to need a house for my collection rather than a room or two!!!).

At the moment I collect fabrics and I am a growing collection of art dolls and creatures.

If money were no object I would buy a piece of art from each of my favourite artists and I have very many favourites! I would need a big studio to fill ... maybe a gallery!

Thank you for a lovely giveaway!

Hmmm...let's see. I would collect
antique valentines/postcards, little black folk postcards, fabric, sea glass, coconut heads, antique religious art, handmade/carved hearts, black dolls and a piece of art from all my favorite blogging artist! Whoosh! that was fun
:)

Your shop looks really lovely; you did a great job :-)
I'm afraid I'm not a collector, more of a give-awayer...

Paper, lovely thick creamy paper. Notebooks, all handmade with beautiful stitching -I'd stack them higher and higher every day, and just keep stroking - Ok,you right, that's what I do already.

congratulations, the shop looks inviting, professional, and absolutely lovely!

I'd collect work from other fiber artists, and MAPS, and images of The Blessed Virgin Mary (I know, I know -- it doesn't have to be rational, right?), old botanical prints, and ironstone.... just to name a few...

Congratulations--your shop is lovely! I'm not much of a collector, but I could make room for ethnic textiles or masks from around the world.

Well done on the shop - it does take courage and to face all that "in public" stuff..

I think I'd like some taxidermy heads sop I could knit them covers.
Then I'd have reams of old paper and costume jewlellery to take apart and make stuff with.

I collect handbags - wasteful and wondrous at the same time.

oh! I posted your heart - you may have it by now!

oh and books, artists' books, letterpress books.

To collect wilderness... that´s a wonderful thought, Velma - must add it immediately to my (somewhat faint-hearted in comparison)porcelain dogs...
