... myself - in the March/April issue of
Cloth Paper Scissors - which is fun, and an
honour, too...
... and my Creatures, of course... (they have
journeyed all the way across the big pond and back,
on their own, brave little folks...)
Some of them are old acquaintances already, but
those three I haven´t shown here before...
Each one of them is named after a character from
historical novellas by german/austrian writer Jakob
Wassermann (1873 - 1934), and they have their names
machine stitched on them (Wollock, Theodata, and Uz)...
A No. 4, Beckchen, is in the making. They´ll be a
group of about ten - I call them the Wassermann gang...

I cant wait to get this issue (we're a bit slow out here in Australia). Loved these creatures in your previous post. Really drawn to the neutral colours of these quirky creatures.

Thank you... - the Wassermann gang are a perhaps somewhat unusual, but heartfelt way to pay hommage to a great writer... he died 1934, Jakob Wassermann, shortly after his books were banned + burned, in 1933... - keine so große Bildungslücke, Suschna, die Zeitschrift ist hier meines Wissens nirgends zu kaufen... - "was like seeing family" is a wonderful compliment, Grace, special thanks to you...
Wonderful creatures! Congratulations.
Many many congratulations! I am thrilled for you.
Thankyou for the Wassermann info - i am definitely going to have to examine him further.. My husbands granny and the Wassermann family left Germany for England in 1933 for obvious reasons. I know it's a common name there but I'd love to know if we're related.
fantastic, well done!
