Cover story

New home for stray magazine clippings - with old
home coat (see previous post)...

And, still to be finished, new cover for collecting
small quilts - made from this old, relatively speaking,
piece, made from an (really) old shirt......

Must be some pre-autumn storage urge...

Covers for more stories? oooooh, I like this so much, especially with much loved, pre-worn, overly worn fabrics....

I like these very much. Pagans believe autumn begins with Lammas on August 1st (first harvest) - so harvest and storing at this time seem perfectly natural.

I like the idea of making a cover specially for storing stitched "bits" :-)

...maybe I'll get some scraps out again...

Thanks, everyone... I like the thought of looking at the small pieces in their album once in a while as at old photos... (in fact, they do speak more clearly about how it was at the time I made them than photos would...) - + the ex-housecoat? I can hear it sighing in it´s basket: I´m all right, I´m all right, just weary to my bones... ;)
