What it takes to make a Wednesday in October cloth:
An autumn landscape...
A piece of old, vine leaves dyed tablecloth...
A scrap of berry dyed fabric with old mending...
The autumn landscape, in its former life, has
been the back side of a bit of Halloween fabric...
Gotten here via a fabric swap I did with Marie of
Ancientcloth, who sent me a very generous load of
lovely scraps...

plus the long shadows and filtered daylight. inspirational...k.
Beautiful Wednesday!
yes the light says so much.
Wednesday in October light... (temporarily abandoned my mid-morning tea to catch it...)
Makes me want to get stitching.
Heh, do it...!!
it´s so impressive for me (but in a calm and so soft way, of course, like listening other´s beat elsewhere outside), here I´m surrounded by green and October is being hot as the sun gets stronger. These so soft browns and whites come with a sort of windy yet mild afternoon.
wonderfulness, as always. Like the little mended piece lots.
I wish I could do pretty, so lovely. The piece you commented on is more like the top photo, I cut it in two and added Japanese tissue in the middle section. I don't think I gave people the correct impression of it. I don't love it yet.
Fall stitching...my favorite!
The tree fabric is the perfect touch.
Love the berry dipped heart <3
fabulous! I can not say enough
about how delightful it is to
stitch with your lovely fabric :)
such carefully considered lovely layers
a unique and lovely combination of elements. i love your vision here...
Thanks, everyone... I might put this one on hold for a while + make it into a November piece (September is more or less finished, October, the one with the falling leaves, turns out just the same size = about 14 x 40 cm, + this one again, so I guess what they want is to be a series...
'MAGIC' seems to be everywhere these days...
I love the light also....your photography is always wonderful.
