Winter Pastels

There´s new snow in Berlin -
and a new fabric pack in the shop...

It´s all from one kind of fabric this time, a wool-
silk-mix, with some additional cotton squares...

I´m making a scarf from one of the wool-silk dyes -
a honey-coloured shade - on one side and dyed silk
and some lacey fabric on the other...

Thank you, Lisa... - I only stitch in some places, so the 2 layers have still room to shift...

Funny that we have soft gentle colours in winter, yet winter can be so fierce. Your scarf is gorgeous - I like the idea of the two sides being so different

your shop is so tempting, i can't keep away! the mixed media collages are a delight and give an Aussie a cool insight into your Winter. Your new scarf is a lovely idea, just barely stitched. k.

Snow´s turning to slush right now I guess, don´t dare looking out... - + here´s a confession re: subtle colours: in addition to my indian bag shown here recently I´ve bought 2! more! very! red! embroidered bags, from Thailand, + looking at them almost makes me faint (never thought I´d become a closet colour-adict...;) - thanks, everyone...
