A little scrap gatherer in the making...
Too many baskets of scraps, too many piles of paper,
too many projects and wips around here - so some
serious sorting, straightening, simplifying has to
be going on...
Which doesn´t keep me from thrifting fresh supply
for the scrap-heap...
I´m rather rapidly approaching post No. 500, can you
believe it? So it might be time for some blog reform,
too...
Anyways, there won´t be another post here this week
I guess...
Take care!

it can't have."

One can never have enough fabric "scraps"
: )
It is necessary to creativity.
sounds like my house--too much of everything. just love that delicate embroidery. now who could resist that?
500, just a beginning.
i hear you and I'm in the same boat..too many balls in the air. i wonder what happened to simplicity...it 's gotten lost in my mess!
There's always a good reason to search for more supplies! And you never know what you may find.
It must be in the air. I just sorted out all my scraps from Jude's class. Seems like the more things I make, the more I have left.
weavers call it their stash--good luck at reducing the piles, sometimes they just get shuffled.
"scrap gatherer"!! yes! what an absolutely perfect naming! it sets my imagination a whirl with ideas... thank you!!
and, no, you can NEVER have too many scraps! (coming from one who is overrun by scrap monsters and still went out this afternoon and acquired more. perhaps i should see someone about this? ha!)
It's funny, I spent the whole of yesterday sorting through my scraps too, and was amazed to find so many. Your post really spoke to me today. I do want something I can't have - to move house - and I am trying to teach myself not to want it.
I'm feeling a bit out of control too. Working hard on getting things better organized this year. That's such a great quote...
One can never have enough scraps, that´s true - but it seems to me some can get stale + have to be removed before they become a hindrance + contaminate the whole stash... - 500 just the beginning? oh my, can´t say that sounds like a promise to me, at the moment...;) - and I would like to move house, too... - thanks, everyone - + good luck with your own sorting...
I've been quite taken with each of your *keepers* over the past months visiting here...the whole idea of them is delightful. This little scrappy one is no exception.
My beeyouteeful silk scraps arrived and ooh, I'm making plans...thank you :>}
Thanks, Christi...
