Weaving

Some weeks ago I thrifted a little loom. After it had
been standing in the way for a while, I gave it a try
with the wool still in it - no fun...

So I thought: why not use fabric strips instead?

Aahh, better...

Much better actually...

Spring catchers. Now I´ll lean back, on a cold and
grey Berlin February day, and wait for things to come.
What will be will be...

Isn't weaving awesome - no matter what your fiber/medium is? I received a little loom for Christmas and have finally found the courage to get it warped and start playing. I'm using cotton warp with all kinds of left over fibers found here and there. I'll take a picture soon. I like your pieces. Can't wait to see more. ~Suzanne

So happy to see this...I remember you saying you were tempted. Can be quite the addiction, mind you ;>}

This weaving is very inspiring for me. Intriguing, because it's a discipline I've never tried. But it's been on my mind since I knew Jude-Spirit Cloth works.

Thanks... yes, it is rather addictive, and so much fun with fabric - at first I had a bit of a hard time with the thing + its instructions booklet - but once I threw the wool out + used fabric, all was well...
