oh dear.. I am thinking 500 hundred new colours in thread or cloth and I see other working towards world peace....
I was studiously thinking of what I'd want 500 of, and then saw such excellent responses that my mind went numb. I'd be thrilled with any of the above (especially Carrie's).
But since those wishes are already taken, I'll say honest politicians. It's all fantasy, right?

i would wish for another wish, which according to your premise would give me 500 individual wishes (if i'm thinking correctly).
gosh this is a difficult one, maybe 500 days without any trauma or natural disasters anywhere in the world. 500 days where the world news was full of nice happy events.
OR, if that's not possible, can i please have 500 new books of very old haiku.

500 hours or even minutes, to talk with mum and dad and ask them all those things about themselves, that I iether didnt ask when they were alive, or did and have forgotten what theyd told me........this time Id have great hugs for each of them and a pen and notebook with me!
500 new houses for low income families here in Australia.
Still thinking about the 60 minutes episode on Sunday about all the homeless children... so, 500 thousand homes to those precious souls would be my wish.

this list is so good, i'm wondering if we could all get our 500 wyshes to come true if we focussed very, very hard for 500 seconds.
...my wish would be for 500 cures for horrible diseases/afflictions....

500 days of paid education for my children.
I have one son going to an arts school for ballet, another going to college for econ in a year, and another going to arts school for visual arts in 2 years! GACK!
i am absolutely sure that there are many many inventions or most interesting ideas lying stuffed away in some drawers just because the industry does not find them interesting or profitable and therefore does not sponsor them. I would wish for 500 of these inventions (be they gadgets, machines, remedies, new materials) to become real because I am certain that many of them could help the world and mankind.
And I simply love the banner and would be so proud to own it!
500 kisses from my beloved husband...but then again, i don´t need a fairy for that - he gives them, anyway! then i wish for 500 walks on the beach at sunset.
The first thing that popped into my head was 500 acts of kindness. That surely would affect the world on a deep level.

That really is a tricky question! At first I thought of things like "money", "happiness", "no problems" and so on. But does this really makes you satisfied? Well, I don`t think so. So my wish would be to have 500 months more to live. 500 months to care for me, my husband and my children, 500 months staying healthy and beeing able to work on my projects. That is what would make me happy.
500 individual wishes for children in war torn countries, what would they wish for?? Congratulations on your blog anniversary, your blog has given a great deal of pleasure to many people.

500 posts! How wonderful! The bunting is beautiful. If I could have 500 of anything it would be to have positive influence on 500 people so it could then have a 'ripple effect' for 500 more people, etc. Being a teacher, I will continue to do this!
