Monday mirrors

A wip, made mostly from pieces of cancelled projects
(three cheers to the roundabout ways...)

Pretty enough, that little mirror - but not as pretty
as the ones on my old indian bag bolster...

More about The Nature of a Mirror here...

Hooray for cancelled projects if this is what it leads to...

Your silks arrived...oooh so luscious...and the one with the "X" is already basted (as the centerpiece) onto a new piece. Many, many thanks.

Love the first two photo's with the natural colours, truely YOU.
I would like to be able to make something like that ... but ... me, I'm more a photo-3-colours person ;-)

I like your recycled projects - I bought shisha mirrors myself today - they are very alluring

Hey, everyone... - they are alluring, these mirrors, aren´t they - had them around for almost a year before finding something where one fits though... - no, Denise, I didn´t do that, on the third picture - that´s an old indian bag I thrifted, I´ve put a blanket inside + use it as a bolster...

A very good use of leftovers...

I have a package of tiny mirrors that I bought for something that I never did... I think I'm going to have to dig them out.

I like the little mirror isolated the way it is.. As it was wondering "what am I doing here?"

I like it more than the indian composition, where everything seems to be in the right place.

Yes, I know what you mean...
