More white (plus red + apricot)

Still stitching at my white cloth...

That fondness for pure white - it´s when I´m dyeing
fabrics...

Well, almost pure... - adding bits of dyed silk I have
from Kaite - and some red will be in order later on,
obviously...

And here´s something else I made: some new "tiles".
They come in pairs. For one - I call it Eye Echo -
I used two hand stitched nine-patches in whites and
neutrals, painting some of the patches red with
acrylic paint. They´re in the shop, together with
a new fabric pack - August apricot...

What are those beautiful little nine patches mounted on -- looks like canvas covered board. Is it? They're wonderful!

nothing like a nine patch

Beautiful. Love the reds.

I like the thought of stitching a nine-patch + when finished decide whether it´s going to be a soft one or a hard one... - yes, it´s canvas covered board - and it felt fine adding the red paint...

Lovely work. The tiles are a great idea.

hey did i see my name mentioned? good to see that someone is able to use my dyed scraps, cause i'm not yet. Your ninepatch is intriguing, like a cryptic crosspatch.
I'm still (mostly) off air, learning to drive a mac is steep.

Red has always been my favourite colour. It's always around, coming and going... But I sometimes feel tired of the combination colours I use it with.

Love yours here, with neutrals and white.

Thanks, Montse... you know, I used to have zero tolerance for red, couldn´t stand it - but by and by I came to like it (as long as it´s not overwhelming...)

So much drama with just a little bit of red. Very nice!

Yes, a little pin can change a lot... - thanks, Robin
