I´ve been in a stuffing mood...
Do you remember my
"therapeutic" pincushions
of last year?
Here´s a new version: a "good intention" pincushion.
I made 4 different ones - 3 are in the shop -
and one I offer as a give-away...
The winner´ll get this pincushion, together with
a small bundle of hand dyed fabrics - so, if you´d
like to have it, please leave a comment here till
Monday (Jan. 23), sharing a good intention or two...

I don't usually make new year's resolutions, but this year there's enough change going on that I quietly said to myself I would formulate precisely an intention -- to be more present, to do what i intend, instead of what life throws at me.
and softly she pulls her threads, stitch by stitch, by stitch...and softly the color fills your hand. soft touch is what i see and feel here. thank you
Love this new work of yours, would be thrilled to win a piece.
My primary intention from here on out is to be present to my life, on a day by day basis, as much as possible...being in living meditation.
Have a great year, Heike!
'Plans are only good intentions unless they degenerate into hard work' - I can't remember where I read this, but I like it. What a marvellous pincushion, and a lovely idea too.
It's a beautiful cushion. Count me in please.
get up early and walk
take in neighbours' bins
knit premmie baby caps
oh and eat less cake!
Experiment is the theme this year for me. For so many years I convinced myself the naysayers were correct and I wasn't artistic. I have been encouraged to not believe this and so I am setting out on a journey to see what talents might pop up. I am so excited!!!
good intentions? This year is my year of living frugally. I'm trying not to spend. At all! ( well, necessities only). So far so good!
I have the best intentions to stop spending so much time playing computer games! Thanks for the nice giveaway!
awesome giveaway
So lovely...
for me - my theme this year is relax!
more family time
more service time
more time to appreciate friends
thanks
I'll consider my words and actions a bit longer before reacting--often times a knee-jerk reaction hurts others unnecessarily.
I will also develop a thicker skin when it comes to the day job--it's just not worth losing sleep over whatever happens there.
Thank you for hosting the giveaway!
I am trying to finish some unfinished projects before i start anything new. that's my good intention.
My good intention for this year is to sew more and finish all the products I have in mind. What's the good of many super ideas if nobody gets to see them! Keep my fingers crossed that I achieve my goal! Thanks for the giveaway - I would love to win!
i hope to become more open...not hide myself away as i have been sincebeing caught in the whirlwind of stress, loss, depression...
to be more the person that is inside and not so much of the person most want me to be...
to show the things i create instead of feeling they are unworthy...
:0) bet you wish you hadn't ask abotu my intentions lol
i love "i've been in a stuffing mood". who knows where these things come from?
How fun to read all these--what a great idea! My intention and my word for the year is "stretch." I want to push myself--slightly--in all areas, move out of my comfort zone.
My good intention is to not be so hard on myself. Love your art.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Thid year, I hope to do some giveaways too!
The textures in combination are exciting, as well as the shabby styling.
Makes me want to clear the crap out and get sewing again.
My good intention is to win this beautiful pincushion :)
Thank you for this giveaway.

Hmmm... intentions... I like that phrase, it is friendlier and guilt-free! I have intentions to lose about 15 pounds - honestly, that shouldn't be too hard right? Thanks for the giveaway!!
beautiful! as all your work is. intentions. hmmm. to eat more greens. to art-journal more. :) xo
I love your stuff & have subscribed to your posts. I will have to check out your Etsy shop too. Lovely stuff.
I am really in need of a pin cushion, I was intending to make one, but wouldn't it be great if I won one???
Intentions sounds much better than resolutions somehow!I wonder where the idea we should make resolutions first started?!
Sorry H, didn't want to make any resolutions at the beginning of the year ...
There are a lot of changes coming up, not all of them easy, so I might say nów as an "intention": don't worry to much, one step at the time, things will be all right in the end (probably).... and enjoy whatever comes our way !!!
Love the pin cushions, always love your stitched words !
My intention is to catch up on my blog reading and take a nap because we will have a late night and we're early risers!
Those pincushions are adorable and I've always wanted to try hand dyed fabric!
Adorable pincushion and I love hand dyed fabric
a continuation of last year; reduce, recycle and rethink - all the while finishing many half made "things". wonderful to see what others are thinking.
I love the idea of good intentions...mine is to be kinder and more thoughtful. Your cushions are simply lovely!
I love pin cushions! I make them and collect them. This one is adorable! I have good intentions to finish all my half finished projects!
just love your work. i would treasure the pincushion!
This sounds like a wonderful giveaway. Thanks for the chance.
thank you for the possibility of winning one of your treasures!
my intention- to keep going (in fiber & life) & to trust myself more.
Oh how lovely. My resolutions are to do with limiting what I use in my work, and taking things a bit slower.
Ow! Everybody is full of good intentions! Me too!
I would like to make more good than bad to everybody this year (these are the words of a famous spanish politician that has passed away recently).
