The story of a triangle

Some time ago I made a triangle necklace -
and here´s how that came about:

It was the charming little white triangle on
this photo which on the spur of the moment made
me want to make one too...

It´s in an inspiring book by Catherine Legrand,
"Wundebare Welt der Stoffe" in German - there´s no
English translation from the French original as far
as I see, but a very similar book: "Textiles - A World
Tour".

The necklace has been sitting on the shelf for a
while, so it´s on sale now here...

Magnificent really, all these ethnic fabrics and patterns - slowly vanishing from the face of the earth in favor of "sports wear"... tringle bells + cooeeee!

I love your necklace. I love these images. But I think the first one is the one that most grabs my attention in it's simplicity. Being a highly "visual" person, I always check out images and then read text. So at first I didn't realize that this first image included pages from a book. I actually thought these were pages from a sketch book of yours. And somehow it is so like your work. So I'm not surprised that you were drawn to the triangle. That seems right!

Thank you, Catherine - yes, the 1. is my favourite too, and I´m coming back to it looking at the guy as well, he seems a happy man, despite hard life...
