That´s what now became of a pair of too tight
linen pants shown 3 posts back, together with
some hand dyed scraps, a bit of cryptic writing
which came with a length of cotton I once bought
at a sale (shown once before here), two of the red
circles one should be prepared to see popping
up again here once in a while, a tassel taken
from a tote from Thailand...
- and, yes, some acrylic paint...
I call it Pupation.

in case this is of interest to you; the first time i came here i thought you did not accept comments, then i thought to click on your post title and Oh there is a place for comments.. other people might not realize where to leave a comment, this is trickier than most blogs have it set up.

I love your work. They cryptic writing is an awesome touch. The red is distracting in this piece, though, because it reminds me of a smiley face. What do you think?

I love that you are fearless in adding other mediums to your work--so many seem to think paint should never touch naturally dyed--it's all just canvas and art supplies, so why not use! Well done as always.
Thank you, everyone... - and thanks for mentioning that, Aly V, I noticed it too (I tend to see faces wherever I look, but here it indeed is a bit irritating) - it´s only on the photo though, standing before the piece one has no doubt that it´s a female torso...
I find the insertions of red fearless, as well. Nice execution!
