The September piece has grown some blue leaves
since last time - a velvety one I got from
Dot,
and one from a silk scarf I bought at a thrift-store
the other day...
My hand has not grown a blue carbuncle, though -
it´s a ring pincushion I purchased from
Karen.
It´s pretty, and it hopefully will help me overcome
the health-hazardous habit of going about with a
needle in my mouth...

Yes, a hard habit to break, I too tend to put needles and pins in my mouth and also wave scissors around, your blues are looking lovely
beautiful scarf. the leaves are perfect for your september piece. i do love the color blue.
September is looking good, i like your blue leaves. the velvety one is familiar, then i remembered i have a couple like it, wonder where they are...
The only way i'd rid myself of that pin in mouth habit would be to keep the pincushion between my teeth like a gag. there should be flavoured pins. k.
beautiful..love the blues!
i used to work at an animal hospital as a technician and got yelled at for running with a syringe in my mouth..kinda similar..
Your September piece is growing beautifully. Thanks for the mention; glad to see it's settled in to its new home and is helping you. Pins in the mouth are never a good thing.
I too put things aside for months, for years. I enjoyed the quote by Oscar Wilde - and your comment about time going so quickly. It really does.
Have a good weekend, everyone (= mumbling around needle in mouth...;)
Beautiful Heike. And I am so glad you found a use for the velvet leaf I sent to you xx
