Warm-up

By dyeing one might not be able to reduce heating
costs - but it can feel like that at least...

A piece of warm-up silk, drying on the balcony in
a rare bit of Berlin winter sunshine...

And it burns, burns, burns...
I just put three small silk packs into the shop, together
with some other things, such as these two ladies,
who seem greatly unperturbed by any kind of chill...

What a beautiful orange (my favorite color really) - soft, yet strong against the Winter.

your second lady is dressed very summery for your time of year, in a string top. that mottled orange and pink is very like our ripe mangoes, a tropical summer. k.

Thanks... it was a good way to use up some brazilwood I bought some time ago + never liked much = quite blueish-red - but now discovered it wants to be rinsed with vinegar to turn orange... - I just googled for color psychology + orange, + guess what: it´s, next to brown, the color most Germans (86 %) dislike...
