This week I´ll busy myself with printing and dyeing...
Ages ago, long before the textiles took over, I bought
an old indian stamp, because I liked it just as an object.
Then I gave it to someone who wanted to try some wall
decoration with it, and forgot about it...
But now it´s back where it belongs.
This print (thickened walnut dye) looks better here
than in real, and it washed off too much, and I don´t
like brown anyways...
The first photo shows a card I made yesterday, with a
sponge rubber print.

I bought a couple of those ... same reason. Did some paint printing but I'm interested in seeing what you do with fabric. I tried rubbing with oil crayons...worked well.
I have a few of those wood blocks. Been meaning to try them out...
liking this immensely....looking forward to where you take this...I've been using old stencils lately and walnut ink is one of my favorites though i'm a one trick pony when it comes to dying fabric...

I made stamps out of "Radiergummi"
That is soft and easy to cut, only the size isn't very big ....
(made my new year cards with it)
Hey, everyone... - yes, that indian stamp is pretty, and I wouldn´t mind having more, but I´m not too sure about it for fabric use, too flowery perhaps, so it might end up as a paper-weight - at the moment I´m rather fond of that sponge rubber stuff...
the walnut print looks interesting. the technique also looks like a field for exploration
