Vom Wahnsinnspreis ganz abgesehen ein Wahnsinnsstück - ob das ein Eigenentwurf der Stickerin war, oder ein kommerzielles Muster? Könnte aus den zwanziger Jahren sein - die Zacken sehen nach Art Déco aus, gibt es ja auch ganz ähnlich an vielen Gebäuden, oder an Umspannwerken aus den Zwanzigern - da sollen die Zacken den elektrischen Strom symbolisieren, habe ich mal gelesen. Interessant.

Maybe this is something very german? I have inherited a few tablecloths in this style. They always make me think of the women sitting there, doing the embroidery. In my imagination these women are always in company, never alone. I also like the words about the memories and the moments, very true.
