Sauntering

Went for a gallery and bookstore stroll yesterday
afternoon - here´s something I saw...
























Works by Uli Fischer, at art of textiles gallery,
which he calls "textile objects" - made with frayed
and stained vintage fabrics on canvas - like silks from
Japan and China (part of a Kimono on the right)...
























... or the backside of old embroidered sari silk...

Love the backside of the embroidery. It's movement reminds me of Japanese pictures of trees.
